What is Anxiety?
Anxiety involves frequent and intense worry or fear surrounding events or circumstances that are parts of everyday life. Worrying is a predictable part of life. It is reasonable for a person to be concerned with their responsibilities and to be diligent about doing a good job. Even fear itself is not inherently problematic, and our fears may even have something to show us about ourselves. Anxiety can show up as nervousness, restlessness, tension, irritability, and fear that something bad is going to happen. Panic can happen for no apparent reason. While there are some specific anxiety disorders, like social anxiety and phobias, generalized anxiety disorder is common. It involves less specific worries or fears than other types.
If you have any kind of anxiety, the feelings that come with the disorder are difficult to control and tend to interfere with your day-to-day life. By not managing your anxiety, you could experience difficulties at school, home, work, or in your social life.
Your Vibrant Integrative Psychiatry practitioner diagnoses you by completing a comprehensive mental health evaluation. Your practitioner then develops a personalized treatment plan that addresses your unique needs and symptoms.
What are the symptoms of anxiety?

The physical anxiety symptoms you experience are your body’s response to stress.
